1. Cross-Database Search
If
you want to search the GDP of each province, input the keyword “GDP” in the search box at the top-right corner and a list of indicators containing the keyword are returned.
The options of Frequencies, Regions and Sources are displayed in the result page for quick indicator location. You may tick Provincial under Regions.
Select “GDP/value-added (current prices), (100,000,000 yuan) in “China Macro Economy (by Region, Annual)”, and click Show Data. The web page will automatically jump to the database page of “China Macro Economy (by Region, Annual)” and display the provincial data of GDP.
Note: On the page of search results, you may only select one of the indicators at a time to show data. When you are not sure which indicator to select, you may click the icon beside to see the indicator description (as below).
2. Single Database Search
Find a database on the left part, enter a sub-database such as “China Macro Economy (by Region, Annual)” to look for the provincial data. Then, you may conduct a fuzzy search in the drop-down box of "Indicators" dimension by inputting "GDP". Select the indicator "GDP/value-added, Current Prices, 100 million yuan" and click "Search". The data table of the indicator will show on the right part of the interface.
Tip: You can also right-click the combo box to use the selection shortcuts such as Select all, Deselect all, Select siblings etc. to make selection easier.
